1. What do I want to achieve?

I aim to create a better, new Home Lab Network, as I currently have a bad Vodafone router that lacks enterprise features.

2. How do I plan to achieve this?

I am setting up a new Access Point from Ubiquiti, the Swiss Army Knife of networking, with just WiFi 5, which is sufficient for me since my maximum internet speed is 250 Mbps. I am also creating a new router using OPNsense by repurposing an older €30 HP Mini PC that I bought on eBay, to save some money.
